Each year, the Gathering comprises approximately 60 leading social entrepreneurs and 100 other individuals representing some of the most innovative thinking in philanthropy, business, government, and academia in this country. We take great effort to build community and deepen dialogue by providing continuity of participants. We balance these aspirations with a commitment to inviting leaders new to the Gathering who will bring fresh insights, networks, and experiences.
Since 2005, the Gathering community has grown around a shared purpose. Each participant works from his or her own particular vantage point to help scale effective social innovations and drive transformative change.
As a community, participants challenge one another's assumptions, share and develop new ideas, and work to build relationships across sectors that will advance their mission to accelerate the pace of change.
This combination of individual and group effort is the core strength of the Gathering—the power of a network that brings together those who share a commitment to social change and aspire to find ways to work together to make that change happen.
